LaVonne Chatham-Wooley

I am LaVonne Chatham-Wooley the school-based therapist from Washburn Center for Children at Nellie Stone Johnson. I am here to support a student’s educational, social and emotional development. A child’s social and emotional development are key to their ability to learn in the classroom.

Washburn Center offers families convenient access to the following school-based mental health services:

-        Diagnostic assessment

-        Individual and family counseling (provided at the school and/or home)

-        Consultation with school staff and parents, including classroom observation and recommendations for early intervention

-        Coordination of services and communication with parents, teachers, school staff and other care providers such as pediatricians, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, etc.

If interested in services please reach out to your grade level social worker.
